Release Notes — Site Manager 3.1.0

Release date: March 29, 2026

What's new and improved

Automatic driver recovery on restart

Site Manager now remembers which drivers were active before a system or service restart. On startup, all drivers are restored automatically to their previous state, with no manual intervention.

Persistent, organized activity logs

Each driver's activity logs are now stored permanently on the system and survive restarts and upgrades. Files are organized per driver, rotate automatically when they reach a certain size, and up to three historical copies are retained. This makes troubleshooting and reviewing past incidents easier.

Stable site identity

Each Site Manager installation now keeps a stable unique identifier that does not change across restarts or upgrades. This improves reliability when integrating with centralized management platforms.

Simplified deployment

Installing and upgrading the service is now simpler and requires less operating-system-level configuration. The service can run in environments with standard permissions, without advanced system tuning.

Improved overall stability

Several issues that could cause unexpected behavior in production under sustained load have been fixed, including better error handling when communicating with drivers and greater resilience to transient failures.

Compatibility

This version is compatible with existing installations. Site configuration and data are migrated automatically during the upgrade.

How to upgrade

To apply this update, follow your usual upgrade instructions from your vendor or support team. No changes to your existing configuration are required.
